EMR named as Finalist at annual Pakman Awards

Leading SCADA network and mobile telecommunications supplier, EMR Integrated Solutions today announced that it was named as a finalist at the Pakman Awards, 2016.

Pakman is a national awards programme that recognises excellence in waste management and recycling among businesses, organisations, community groups and individuals in Ireland.

Commenting on the win, Derek Glynn, COO, EMR Integrated Solutions said:

“This is the first year EMR have entered the Pakman awards.

“As a finalist, EMR demonstrated its commitment to sustainability and environmental efforts.  We’re dedicated to serving our customers whilst employing best environmental practices and adhering to ISO 14001 policies and procedures.”

It’s been a good year for EMR on the awards front.  The company recently scooped the prestigious ‘Distinction’ prize at the National Irish Safety Organisation’s (NISO) awards. This is the fourth year in a row that EMR has been publically recognised by NISO for its strong corporate commitment to health and safety.

The Pakman Awards was launched in 2015 by Repak to replace the Repak Recycling Awards and allow more accessibility to the awards for all organisations, and not just Repak members, who demonstrate their sustainability and environmental efforts.

Accepting the award above on behalf of EMR is Ian Smith
