EMR has grown strongly in recent months, and a huge part of that is down to our customers who have kept the projects coming. That loyalty and support has meant our UK team has grown, our workload has grown, and frankly, Ivy Mill was starting to feel a little snug.

So when the opportunity came to find a bigger, better home for the team, we grabbed it, along with several trolleys and a stack of flat-pack boxes.

We’re pleased to announce that EMR has officially relocated from Ivy Mill Business Centre to Ram Mill Chadderton, marking an exciting new chapter for our team.

But this wasn’t just any office move.

Rather than hiring a full removal crew, our office staff rolled up their sleeves, grabbed a trolley (or three), and took on the challenge themselves. With determination, teamwork, and several strategically placed boxes, the move was well and truly underway. And of course, no major project is complete without fuel; courtesy of Domino’s Pizza, who kept morale high and energy levels even higher.

🏢 A New Home at Ram Mill

Ram Mill is a beautifully refurbished 1907 heritage cotton mill, offering excellent facilities including a manned reception, modern meeting rooms, breakout areas, an on-site café and gym, secure parking, and great transport links via the M60 and M62. It turns out we have good taste in mills.

This move gives our team a more inspiring and collaborative working environment and supports EMR’s continued growth, all achieved with plenty of laughs, teamwork, and cardboard boxes.

A Huge Thank You

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this move happen. From lifting desks to directing traffic (and ordering pizza), the team showed real commitment and great spirit.

We’re now fully settled in, feeling motivated, and ready for the next chapter, hopefully without needing to move again anytime soon.
