EMR to deploy telemetry and control system for Kildare County Council

Leading communications and SCADA network supplier, EMR Integrated Solutions today announced it has been awarded a contract for the installation of a pipeline telemetry and control system for the Ballygoran to Collinstown pipeline in County Kildare.

This pipeline is being constructed by Ward & Burke, one of Ireland’s leading civil engineering contractors, to deliver water to cater for the expansion of the Intel facility in Leixlip.

EMR’s contract involves the installation of actuated valves and EMR’s RTUs with integrated radio communications and automation, which link to Kildare County Council’s SCADA server in Castlewarden Wastewater Treatment Works and expands on the systems previously installed by EMR in Kildare.
