This role is suited to an Electrical, Automation or Computer Engineer who has a strong technical background, strong interpersonal skills and can also demonstrate excellent skills in problem solving and analysis with a keen eye for design.

This position will expose the candidate to many aspects of SCADA and Telemetry technology and must therefore demonstrate an aptitude and enthusiasm for the design, ongoing development, installation and support of EMR SCADA and Telemetry solutions. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a methodical, logical and consistent approach to design and deployment processes.

The candidate should possess excellent customer facing skills, and work well under pressure, demonstrating a professional manner, with an ability to identify and focus on customer needs, during the design, deployment and ongoing support of EMR’s solutions.

Role Overview:

The role is predominately office based with some requirement to attend site during deployment and commissioning phases. The major part of this role includes working with Ignition, a web based HMI, SCADA and MES software package to present a high standard front end SCADA solution to the client. This role involves a great deal of communication with the client during the implementation of SCADA systems and also after with any queries they may have about the system and any problems they may incur with it.

Responsibilities:

  • Design of all new solutions and installations
  • Responding to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur
  • Liaising with Senior Engineers on implementation of PLC, HMI and SCADA software for new projects.
  • Creating Tags to be used in the SCADA system
  • Create software design specifications and associated documentation for solutions.
  • Use of design software such as InTouch, Ignition, Broadwin and 1CC Flexible.
  • Training of clients on the use of application once implemented.
  • Maintain a consistency of the work throughout all projects.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Maintenance of Projects once implemented.
  • General maintaining of all Files and Licensing for projects.
  • Dealing with client IT departments in relation to security.
  • General all round Housekeeping of all SCADA projects.
  • Logging of all SCADA service calls, assignment to technical staff and ownership to resolution
Technical Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in SCADA and PLC solutions
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Software Development and Solution Design with Schneider PLC products or similar
  • SCADA – Ignition, Broadwin, InTouch or similar
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft office applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Database Manager
  • Understanding of PC Anywhere, Remote Desktop, Teamviewer
  • Full Drivers License

Logistics Supervisor – Ireland

This position will expose the candidate to many aspects of logistics management therefore the candidate must demonstrate an aptitude and enthusiasm for excellent housekeeping including implementation and adherence to company processes.

The candidate should possess co-worker facing skills, and work well under pressure, demonstrating a professional manner, with an ability to identify and focus on business needs.

Role Overview:

The role of the Logistics Supervisor is a key position within the organisation by ensuring efficient operation of goods in, storage of raw/finished and goods out.

Due to the size of EMR the role is mixture of office with some field-based work. EMRs customers are based through Ireland and the candidate will therefore have the flexibility to travel at short notice.

The individual will also be required to oversee the production of small panels.

Responsibilities:

Logistics;

  • Conduct annual stock take.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
  • Receive goods in, unpack items, identify, receive goods on Sage, forward delivery docs to finance, stock material on shelves in stockrooms or warehouse.
  • Keep stores in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, store room, and workshops.
  • Restrict access to secure stores area.
  • Manage non-conforming products.
  • Clean and maintain storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
  • Keep records on damaged of stock and dispose of or return them to vendors.
  • Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to co-workers, based on information from incoming requisitions. Update Sage for stock issues.
  • Recommend disposal of excess, defective, or obsolete stock.
  • Oversee spares management for key clients e.g. DCC, Laois Co Co, SSE, Greencoat and eirNI.
  • Pack outgoing goods securley, create outgoing delivery dockets & courier labels.
  • Liaise with Fastway or Enterprise Freight for collection.
  • Production of commercial invoices & other required customs documentation
  • Approval & analysis of logistics costs

H&S

  • Update H&S GA2 & GA3 forms on a weekly basis
  • Update H&S AF4 forms on annual basis
  • Manage any defects identified in completed GA2, GA3 and AF4 forms
Technical Skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Familiar with Sage 200 or similar accounting packages

Project Administrator – Ireland

The Project Administrator will work as part of a team of Project Managers and Engineers focussed on the delivery of a diverse range of projects on time and in budget. The candidate must understand how to delivery customer excellence while achieving the commercial objectives of each project. In order to be successful in this role the Project Administrator must be organised and pro-active while demonstrating a high degree of professionalism in their dealings with stakeholders inside and outside the organisation.

This position will suit somebody who is familiar with the day to day activities of a busy Project Office and is looking to become part of a successful and expanding organisation with blue-chip customers throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Role Overview:

The role of Project Administrator is a key position within the organisation by contributing to the efficient operation of the Project Office. The Project Administrator will play a significant part in ensuring that all project records and documentation are generated, updated and maintained in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

The Project Administrator will work with the Project Managers on all project stages from initiation to closure ensuring that the project status information is kept up to date and available to all key stakeholders. The preparation and circulation of weekly project reports reflecting the current commercial and operational status of each project will become an essential part of the role.

Ad-hoc communications with customers and suppliers will be required and the Project Administrator will be expected to develop a good working relationship with these key partners. They will be expected to ensure that all materials requisitioned for projects are ordered and made available in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Project Initiation;

  • Ensure that all relevant project initiation documentation is prepared and made available to relevant stakeholders.
  • Arrange project kick-off meetings and maintain proper records and minutes of these meetings.
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure that project schedules and budgets are prepared and approved.
  • Assist Project Managers with the task of updating overall resource plans in line with changes to project schedules.

Project Implementation;

  • Assist Project Managers with the preparation and maintenance of all relevant Health & Safety documentation.
  • Assist with planning of all project activities through all project phases.
  • Work closely with purchasing and logistics to ensure all project material is available in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Finance Department to ensure that all project budgets reflect the current status of each project and alert Project Managers to any potential risks to the budget.
  • Work with Project Managers and F&A Department to ensure that all project billing happens in a timely manner.
  • Calculate project metrics, such as quality, costs, health & safety, etc.
  • Facilitate effective communications within the project teams.
  • Foster positive relationship with stakeholders

Project Closure;

  • Work with the project teams to ensure that all project deliverables have been delivered and approved by clients.
  • Maintain all project snag lists and work with project teams to ensure full and satisfactory closure of these lists.
  • Arrange project closure meetings and maintain proper records and minutes of these meetings.
  • Ensure that all lessons learned and logged and circulated to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure an orderly handover of post-implementation responsibility to the Service Department.

H&S

  • Ensure all project H&S documentation is up to date and filed appropriately.
  • Work with Project Managers and Line Managers to ensure that all project team members have suitable and up to date H&S certification.
  • Assist with the resolution of any non-conformances or incidents in line with company policies.

Commercial

  • Work with Logistics Manager to ensure efficient delivery of Sales Orders followed by commercial invoicing.
Technical Skills
  • Experience working in a busy project office.
  • Familiar with MS Office applications including MS Word, Excel & Project.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Self-Starter willing to seek out new challenges.
