Bid Manager – Ireland

Due to continued growth, EMR Integrated Solutions have an opportunity for a full-time Bid Manager.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing dedicated support to the Sales Director and the business development team to facilitate their effective and efficient operation.

The role will encompass the delivery of key tasks with a high focus on the excellent presentation of documentation in line with EMR standards and expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • To produce complete, comprehensive, market-leading and winning bids, tenders and proposals for EMR.
  • Ensure that all documentation produced is fully compliant with customer requirements.
  • Increase the win rate/effectiveness of our bids and proposals.
  • Management of the internal bid process, tracking of the tender process and owning the completion of all tenders.
  • Continual development of an effective tender information library and liaison with other divisions and departments to ensure updated relevance
  • Development of writing and design of content for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and tender responses, bespoke to EMR.
  • Liaising with key EMR personnel and external clients to ensure a seamless approach to Bid Management.
  • Scheduling the bid strategy meeting with sales, operations, FD and MD
  • At least 2-3 years minimum of Bid Management experience and/or a relevant third-level qualification.
  • Proven experience in writing bespoke documentation.
  • Strong Bid Writing experience with an eye for detail.
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent time management for completion of work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment as well as being able to work individually.

Installation Technician – Ireland

This role is suited to an IT/Telecoms graduate or Apprentice Electrician who has a strong technical background and strong interpersonal skills, and can also demonstrate excellent skills in problem solving and analysis

This position will expose the candidate to many aspects of SCADA and Instrumentation technology and must therefore demonstrate an aptitude and enthusiasm for the installation and support of EMR solutions. Candidates must be able to demonstrate methodical and logical approach to installation processes.

The role is predominantly on-site work as EMR’s customers are based through Ireland and the candidate will therefore have the flexibility to travel at short notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical support duties, including product configuration and troubleshooting of customer issues.
  • Installation of EMRs products to a very high level of quality, to budget and on time.
  • Follow manufacturer’s guidelines for installation and maintenance of equipment supplied by EMR
  • Adherence to Method Statements and Risk Assessments
  • Wearing of required PPE at all times
  • Obtain customer sign off of installations
  • Resolution of general maintenance incidents in a timely fashion, either remotely or on site
  • Participate in out of hours support
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with Customers.
  • Work as part of a team and also on own initiative
  • Qualified Electrician with a minimum of 3 experience in installation of instrumentation and electrical products.

Business Development Manager – UK

Due to continued growth, EMR Integrated Solutions have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager based in the UK.

The role of the Business Development Manager is to promote EMR’s portfolio of OT, SCADA, and telemetry solutions to our existing UK customers and to target new clients. The primary markets of focus are utility and CNI operators across the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • To meet and exceed the sales target as set by management.
  • Build up a profile of each of the target clients, detailing contacts, roles and responsibilities, existing systems used, competitor activity, and opportunities, and maintain the CRM database and ensure that the information contained is accurate and up to date.
  • Agree on short, medium, and long-term objectives for each account and a target list and timescale for new business sectors and customers.
  • Ensure that scheduled reporting is completed with monthly sales meetings and quarterly performance reviews are held to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepare a focused presentation in an agreed format detailing activity and outlook.
  • There will be a requirement to work closely with the marketing department to identify and brief on appropriate sales collateral to support the business development process.
  • Ensure that the management team is provided with details of upcoming tenders promptly. The preparation of tender responses is an essential component of EMR’s business
  • To respond to tenders professionally and to ensure that the appropriate resources are requested in sufficient time to ensure comprehensive, compliant competitive bids can be submitted within the deadlines.
  • There will be a requirement to work with the Sales Director on specific accounts
  • SLAs and recurring revenues are a key component of EMR’s business mix and specific objectives will be set with a requirement for you to grow these revenues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or management
  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation, preferably in the utility sector OT, automation, or telemetry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working experience with sales techniques
  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources
